All rental vehicles are currently parked at The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort on the 5th floor parking level. Shuttle service is available for guests of Mauna Kea Beach Hotel; however, there may be a short wait time. 

Mauna Kea Resort has partnered with Envoy Hawaii to feature an exclusive electric car rental amenity program for resort guests and rental residents only. Featuring Tesla Model 3's, vehicles can be booked at hourly, daily or weekly rates. Each vehicle comes equipped with 260 miles of range, free resort valet parking, and inclusive charging fees

How To Prepare

  1. Download "Envoy Mobility" App
  2. Enter your Driver's License and Payment Information
  3. Select: "The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort & Mauna Kea Beach Hotel"
  4. Input Access Code provided by Resort's Front Desk
  5. Book on demand, or reserve in advance!

Common Questions About EV Car Share

"How long does it take for my license to be approved?"

  • Most states take about five minutes; however, Hawaii may take a few days.
  • Call Digisure at (833) 241-7743 to check your status at any time.

"How do I Reserve and Pay?"

  • All reservations and payments are taken care of through the Envoy Mobility app.

"What if I need to modify or cancel my booking?"

  • You can do so through the app or by contacting customer service.
  • If you modify or cancel in advance, you can do so without any fees.

"Do I need to wash the car?"

  • No, but please keep the inside clean for the guest who uses it next.

"How far can I drive?"

  • Normal range of the vehicle is approximately 260 miles.
  • Please remember to check your charge level and plan ahead before you go.

"Do I have enough charge to make it to Hilo and back?"

  • Yes, the vehicle will safely make it directly there and back safely. Be sure to use the In-Vehicle Touch Screen for navigation and trip planning for longer trips.

"Does it work where cell phone service is limited?"

  • Yes, the app works using Bluetooth, so even if there is no cell service you’ll have access to the vehicle via your phone. You can also pick up a key to the car by request at the resort's Valet Desk.

"What if I can’t make it back in time by the end of my scheduled booking?"

  • You can extend your booking through the app, or by calling customer service.
  • Please be considerate of your neighbors, and try to plan your trip in advance, giving yourself plenty of time to explore the island it’s easy to get distracted.

"What if I get sand or dirt inside the vehicle?"

  • Penalties may be charged for excess sand, dirt, or trash left in the vehicle. 
  • Please be considerate and keep sand and debris to a minimum.

"Do I need to End My Ride when I get back to the hotel?"

  • Yes, please press "End My Ride" in the app and plug vehicle in for charging once you return to the hotel.
