Minimizing the impact of the renovation on our guests’ experience remains a top priority. We will provide guest access to the various accessible areas of the resort to optimize the safety and comfort of our guests.

Most of the renovation work will take place behind decorative barriers and out of guest view. While we anticipate some construction noise during the renovation, noisy work will be restricted to the hours of 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

We will assist any guest looking to relocate to our sister property, The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort, based on Westin Hapuna's availability.

Renovation work started on April 15 and will finish during the second quarter of next year (2025). We are working with our contractor on determining the scope of work and a more detailed timeline. Please continue to check back on this site for updates and announcements.

The resort’s renovation will be conducted in two phases: Phase One includes the closure of the Main Tower on April 15. Phase Two includes closure of the Beach Wing tentatively starting October or November of this year. This timeline may change depending on the contractor’s progress.

We anticipate work will begin on the Beach Wing in October or November of this year and will take approximately 6-7 months to complete.

Yes, the current resort pool will undergo some improvements which include expanding chaise lounge seating area, and a new hot tub offering unobstructed ocean views of Kauna’oa Bay. Additionally, we will be adding a new infinity edge lap pool in our new wellness center located in front of the Main Tower. Once the new lap pool is complete (estimated to be Q1 of 2025), we will then begin work on the resort’s current pool.

Yes, fitness center access will be uninterrupted during the renovation. Once our new Spa Wellness Center is complete, our current fitness center will relocate to its new home.

Yes, we will be making improvement to both areas. During the upgrade process, we will relocate both the front desk and concierge services to our Number 3 restaurant located adjacent to the golf clubhouse.

Guest Parking will be relocating to the Beach Parking Lot during Phase One of our renovation, so our guests are closer to the temporary check-in area in Number 3. Once the Main Tower has completed upgrades, Guest Parking will be moved back to the traditional guest parking area.

It will be closed for a period of time during the renovation as we undergo major construction for a new a luxurious destination spa that will offer an elevated experience for our guests. We currently do not have a specific timeline; our resort team is currently working with contractors and will be providing us with more information soon.

Our sister-property, The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort’s spa will be open for appointments or guests are able to book signature treatments in the comfort of their guest room or suite.

The salon will remain open for the duration of the renovation at its original location in the Beach Wing until the resort’s new salon facility completed. Starting April 15, the salon will maintain its normal operating hours of 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Sundays through Thursdays but will be closed on Fridays and Saturdays.

For all meal periods, the resort will have one or more restaurants open to service our guests during the renovation.

BREAKFAST: Manta breakfast is open to the public and will remain open for breakfast service, but at some point during the renovation, Manta will be scheduled to be closed for improvements. We are still working with contractors on a timeline for that work. When Manta is closed, breakfast service will move to Copper Bar where we will also offer daily ready-made grab-n-go options. During holiday periods, the restaurant will be open for registered hotel guests only, so we highly recommend calling ahead to confirm hours of operation.

LUNCH: Hau Tree will remain open throughout the entire renovation and will be open to guests of the resort as well as the general public. During holiday periods, the restaurant will be open for registered hotel guests only, so we highly recommend calling ahead to confirm hours of operation.

DINNER: We will have two dinner options available for guests at all times during the renovation. Manta will continue to be open for dinner until the start of its renovation timeline which is still being determined by our contractors. Once Manta closes, we will have other dining options including Copper Bar and Hau Tree. Please also consider our sister-property’s restaurants: Meridia, Naupaka and Piko. During holiday periods, the restaurant will be open for registered hotel guests only, so we highly recommend calling ahead to confirm hours of operation.

LUAU: We are open for the duration of the renovation and will continue normal operating hours and admission. Please visit our website or call Concierge for reservations.

Evolving permitting and construction timelines will impact these dates, so please call ahead to confirm hours of operation or to make a reservation.

Copper Bar is tentatively scheduled to close May 13 and open on or around Monday, June 24. We highly recommend calling in advance to confirm operating hours and seating availability.
Evolving permitting and construction timelines will impact these dates, so please call ahead to confirm hours of operation or to make a reservation.

Number 3 is closed indefinitely during the time of renovation.

Manta is tentatively scheduled to close on September 3 and reopen on or around November 22. During this time, breakfast will be served at Copper Bar. Evolving permitting and construction timelines will impact these dates, so please call ahead to confirm hours of operation or to make a reservation.

Yes, supporting local musicians is important to us and our community. In addition to our weekly lūʻau that is available on Tuesdays and Fridays, we will continue to offer live Jazz on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday evenings at Manta, and nightly Hula and live Hawaiian music at Copper Bar.
