Golfing in Hawai‘i at Two Championship Golf Courses

Mauna Kea Resort’s two award-winning 18-hole championship golf courses have set the standard for play and for environmental sensitivity in Hawai‘i golf for generations. Enjoy a sneek peak of our Mauna Kea Golf Course here.

Check off your bucket list at the legendary Mauna Kea Golf Course, created in 1964 by Robert Trent Jones Sr. on what was once a barren black lava field. Today, lush fairways tumble across seaside cliffs with unfolding ocean and coastal views. Elevated, undulating greens and prevailing coastal winds demand accuracy, while the epic over-the-ocean signature 3rd hole guarantees an unforgettable day of play.

Mauna Kea Resort also boasts the Arnold Palmer/Ed Seay-designed Hapuna Golf Course which opened to play in 1992. With dramatic elevation changes from sea level to 750 feet and Kohala Coast ocean views and majestic island views from every hole, this fun links-style course measures in at just under 6,900 yards. Its unique design makes it a favorite among visitors and kama‘aina alike.
