With decades of experience curating and collecting authentic, coastal vintage goods, Red Dot has immense pride as purveyors of island nostalgia and the cultural significance and relevance they bring to an iconic time in Hawaiʻi’s history. With this exclusive new partnership, Mauna Kea Beach Hotel now features vintage art, surfboards and skateboards, curated exclusively by Red Dot for Mauna Kea Resort. Resort guests have the extraordinary opportunity to purchase this vintage memorabilia at the resort.

Mauna Kea Beach Hotel has designed four public displays of Red Dot-curated vintage art dedicated and inspired by the golden age of Hawaiʻi. From vintage Aloha shirts to hand-shaved surfboards from the 70s and 80s, the diverse  assortment of Tiki culture collected over the past 100 years, truly showcases an iconic era of travel to the Hawaiian Islands.

Beginning April 1st through Easter, Cohn will be at the hotel, stationed at the atrium on the lower level of Mauna Kea Beach Hotel’s lobby. He will share his inspiration behind the collection and offer his expertise with community talks for guests of the hotel. In addition, pieces of the entire collection is for sale at Koi Boutique at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel for those interested in their own piece of storied Hawaiʻi history.
